Helen Hynson Vettori, the author of the sci-fi political thriller, Black Swan Impact, will appear at Voyageur Book Shop to read a passage from her book, and sign purchased copies. A subject matter expert on planning and preparing for biothreats, Vettori felt deep concern regarding the response to COVID, prompting her to write the book. One person who supported Vettori as she wrote the novel may be known to you. Dr. Richard Hynson, Music Director of the Bel Canto Chorus, is the author's brother. His insightfulness enhanced the book just as his musical masterfulness has heightened music in the greater Milwaukee area for the past 32 years. He will retire from Bel Canto at the end of the 2023-2024 season. What an artistic family.
