The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center opened their 4th Annual Illuminate Ozaukee, a drive-thru holiday light show, at Zeunert Park in Cedarburg on Friday, December 1st from 5-8 p.m. The event will continue every Friday and Saturday in December from 5-8 p.m. through December 23rd.

Illuminate Ozaukee helps support and illuminate the nonprofits of Ozaukee County, with the help and collaboration of supporting businesses and organizations, to bring together a holiday light spectacular. Plots at the park have been decorated by 31 different businesses, organizations and groups that visitors can vote on using the QR code in the brochure they are given at the entry to the event. This year, three groups from Cedarburg High School have decorated plots, including the CHS Robotics and Coding Clubs and the CHS Technical Theater Crew, as well as several businesses from Cedarburg and the surrounding areas.

Children are encouraged to bring letters for Santa for the mailbox at the end of the route, where Santa (or sometimes the Grinch) will be on view in his sleigh. The event is free to attend, but a suggested donation of $10 per car is appreciated, with all donations going to support the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center and their nonprofit partner agencies. Visitors will receive candy canes and can tune into 93.9 on their radios to listen to Christmas music and a special message from local FOX6 meteorologist Tom Wachs.

In the middle of the park, visitors will go through the Enchanted Nonprofit Tree Forest, featuring Christmas trees decorated by 11 different ONC nonprofits, including Advocates of Ozaukee, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee, Equus Workforce Solutions, Forward Careers, Habitat for Humanity, Independence First, Interfaith Caregivers, Lakeshore Realtors Association, Love 4 Lexi Foundation, Lutheran Social Services, Nami Ozaukee, Mr. Bob's Under the Bridge, Sirona Recovery, and Your Best Life.
