It's that wonderful time of year again - if you are a kid! The summer camp season is just around the corner.
The process for kids to sign up for a specific summer camp for another fantastic Summer Adventure Camps season began April 1, 2021. Alliance Bible Church in Mequon has been hosting kids summer camps for several years, and they have gained in popularity over the years.
According to Jodi White, director of camps, last year there were 33 camps offered through the summer and a total of 303 kids attending the weekly camps.
"We have been increasing the number of camps over the past few years, as the number of kid campers attending has exploded," White said. "So, we suggest kids to get signed up early, so they can take part in the camp(s) they want to be in." The camps run from mid June to mid August.
Camps take place at multiple venues like at the ABC Mequon campus, a local lake for the fishing camp and other local destinations, when needed.
