The new summer reading program at the Cedarburg Public Library (CPL) will kickoff on June 12, 2021, and this year's theme is called , "Reading Colors Your World"!

Visit Cedar Creek Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or visit the library on Hanover Avenue at any time throughout the summer up to July 31, 2021.

Kids and teens can pick up their log sheet at the Information Desks when registering with their name and contact information. Adults will pick up bookmarks. If you have any questions, contact the CPL at (262) 375-7640.

"The librarians have been hard at work planning lots of fun crafts, book clubs, and outdoor activities while everyone keeps reading all summer long", Linda Pierschalla, executive director of the CPL said. "Be sure to enter the prize drawing we have scheduled to possibly win a raffle prize in July!"

"Also, look for the new CPL Book Bike coming soon to Cedarburg parks - a mobile library on a tricycle."

The mobile library on wheels will feature friendly librarians checking out books, magazines and more, or people can sign  up for a library card.
