A Proposed New Development Near Western Ave. in Cedarburg

According to the City of Cedarburg, local Ozaukee County based developer P2 Development is proposing a residential redevelopment on the 13 acre site commonly known as the Mercury Marine or Scott Pump site.

The site is immediately east of the Interurban bike trail and west of Pine Shadows Apartments and Fischer Terrace Apartments, and is approximately one block west of downtown Cedarburg and the Cedarburg Historic District.

The blighted site will require environmental cleanup and a public road through the development that increases the costs of the project. Based on these additional costs the City is considering creating a Tax Increment District (TID).

The following public meetings will be held in the next month. These are opportunities for anyone in the public to ask questions or make comments on the project.

CDA Meeting - In Person at City Hall or Zoom - April 4, 2022 - 6:30 p.m.
Special Council Meeting - In Person at City Hall or Zoom - April 19, 2022 - 7:00 p.m.
JRB Meeting - Zoom Only - April 21, 2022 - 4:00 p.m.
