Increased Presence of Ozaukee County Law Enforcement on Area Roads in June

The Ozaukee County Multi-Jurisdictional Speed Task Force will be operating throughout various roadways of Ozaukee County on select days in June, with tomorrow (June 15, 2021) as one of the days. They will be active from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The goal of the rask force is to reduce speed related violations and the crashes they often cause. The officers on the task force will be taking a zero tolerance stance on any observed speed violations.

Uniformed law enforcement officers will be active on Interstate I-43, State Highway 57, 60, 181 and on various other roads within the vicinity.

Besides June 15, other dates includes June 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on June 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The role of this press release is to provide the public with advanced notice that there will be an increase of uniformed law enforcement personnel active on the roads throughout Ozaukee County.
