A Very Busy Day 1 of Support Local Businesses Weekend

Despite some on and off misty rain showers.and very little sun throughout the day,  Day 1 of the Support Local Businesses (SLB) Weekend went off well as festival attenders were out and about supporting local businesses in the Cedarburg area.

Lots of specialty food and beverages from area merchants, live music and a few wood carving demonstrations were the name of the game.

According to Alex Uhan, SLB event coordinator, another day of festive activities is in store for tomorrow (June 27) as there should be more sun and less rain.

"Most businesses will be open at 10 a.m., and closing at 4 p.m-ish on Sunday (and some longer), so be sure to come out and have fun and support our local businesses," Uhan said.
