The 2021 Ozaukee County Fair is open and awaiting all you folks out there! OK, so its only the first afternoon.
However, right at the Main Gate raring to go at 7 p.m. is a diverse musical style band that plays a mixed blend of country, bluegrass, rock and blues - The Jim Gaff Band.
Band leader “Jim Gaff” aka “Big Jim Gaff” is a singer/songwriter, recording artist and fine artist/designer who writes his original music through his own life experiences and creativeness.
He draws from all aspects of life and reflects that in his music. Gaff's lyrics, blended with his memorable melodies, offer the listener an eclectic blend of new and old country-based music. He has been inspired by myriad of respectable top names in entertainment from old to new such as- Waylon, Dierks,
Little Big Town, Paycheck, Merle, Jones, Strait and so many more.
To compliment Gaff's main country vocals, he enjoys playing and entertaining on stage with multiple instruments like guitar, dobro, banjo, fiddle, keyboards and harmonica.
A multi-instrument playing musician coupled with his experience as Veteran Firefighter for 15 years, it’s no wonder Gaff loves the high energy and thrill to perform. Whether it be one of his many trips to Nashville, or a Wisconsin hotspot, he’s been on many stages performing with the same energy and passion.
