2026 Spring & Summer Cedarburg Public Works Projects

According to Mike Wieser, P.E., Director of Engineering & Public Works for the City of Cedarburg, the 2026 Street & Utility Projects will be taking place on the following streets:

- Fair Street (Evergreen Boulevard to Washington Avenue)
- Madison Avenue (Fair Street to Walnut Street)
- Franklin Avenue (Fair Street to Pine Street & Walnut Street to Bridge Road)
- St. John Avenue (Washington Avenue to Bridge Road)
- Elm Street (St. John Avenue to Washington Avenue)
- Cedar Ridge Drive (Orchard Drive to Bridge Road)
Dorner Inc. has already set out traffic control on some of the streets. All streets where traffic control is set up will then be closed to thru traffic.

Dorner plans to begin the sewer main replacement on Franklin Avenue between Pine Street and Fair Street on March 23rd. A second crew will start work on the sanitary sewer replacement on Franklin Avenue between Bridge Road and Walnut Street later in the week of March 23rd. They will then progress onto Madison Avenue and Fair Street over the next couple weeks.

M & E Construction will continue to replace the lead service lines on Fair Street. They will then progress onto Franklin Avenue next.

The work on Fair Street, Madison Avenue, and Franklin Avenue will be completed by July 24, 2026, while the work on St. John Avenue, Elm Street and Cedar Ridge Drive will be completed by August 28, 2026.
