Summer Sounds Cedarburg's Aug. 6 Concert Cancelled Due to Bad Storms

Despite holding out as long as possible, the heavy downpours and stormy weather didn't hold off, as the Summer Sounds Cedarburg volunteer staff made the decision to cancel this week's concert at Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg, WI.

The grounds were all set up, and the Airstream trailer in back of the bandshell was set in place for guest band Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press, plus Look Sharp to utilize while not on stage. The heavy rain and storms passed through slowly, making it a big challenge to keep things intact.

According to the Summer Sounds Cedarburg Facebook page, the concert was cancelled about 7:30 p.m. out of abundance of safety to all.

On to next week's concert on Aug. 13, as Gangstagrass and Olivia Ports travel to Cedarburg to perform.
