Gangstagrass Live and Personal at Summer Sounds in Cedarburg Aug. 13, 2021

In front of a few thousand people Friday night, NY-based Gangstagrass made their electrifying appearance at Summer Sounds at Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg Friday night.

With MCs R-SON and Dolio the Sleuth trading verses, Dan Whitener on banjo, Brian Farrow on fiddle, Rench on guitar and beats, and frequent three-part harmonies, the Gangstagrass stage show lived up to its billing as a real crowd pleaser.

The band combined country/bluegrass music with rap and hip-hop to create a unique sound that frequently got several of the concert-goers riled up and dancing to the beat throughout the nigjt.
