Zarletti's in Mequon victim to fire damage on June 3, 2022

According to a Facebook post by  Allie Gonzales, general manager of Zarletti's Mequon restaurant location, the building apparently caught fire from one of the bushes' located at the western portion of the building late afternoon Fri. June 3.

A 9-1-1 call was made and the fire was reported after 2 p.m. A total of 11 local fire departments responded to help extinguish the fire.

A statement was made by Zarletti management later in the day that read:

"Today, a fire spread across the bushes and outside the western portion of our building. Everyone was able to exit safely, and we are blessed to say that we will be opening back up tomorrow (June 4) at 4 p.m."

" Thank you to Mequon police and fire department's for your fast response and professionalism. We are forever thankful!"
