Mequon Zip Codes Among Top Earning Zip Codes In Milwaukee Area

The Mequon and Thiensville communities located in southern Ozaukee County have been known for a long time for being combined wealthy communities.

The latest research published by Stacker listing the highest earning zip codes in Milwaukee metro communities has the Mequon zip codes of 53097 and 53092 placing 1st and 5th respectively among the Top 10.

The residents with a Mequon zip code of 53097 has a median household income of $129,115, and households earning more than $100,000 represents 57.1%.

The residents with a Mequon zip code of 53092 has a median household income of $106,565, and households earning more than $100,000 represents 53%.

Stacker utilized the US Census Bureau's annual analysis of income and poverty in the US. COVID-19 in 2020 drastically altered income and poverty levels, along with consumer habits and job opportunities - a fallout which continues today.

Communities placing after Mequon were Colgate in Washington County and Okauchee in Waukesha County.
